2002 Aankhen is finally set to get its second sequel. Producer Gaurang Doshi had announced in 2006 that he will be coming up with the sequel of Aankhen.
The film is on the initial stage and the makers are deciding for the casting. John Abraham who has replaced Akshay Kumar in upcoming movies Hera Pheri 3 and Welcome Back, is going to play a blind role of Akshay Kumar in Aankhen 2.

Also director of prequel Vipul Amrutlal Shah has been replaced by Anees Bazmee. Anees mentioned that the film will be a continuation part of the first part and will start from the sequence where the previous part had ended.
There is also news that Anil Kapoor too is going to be part of the film. However the details of other star cast has not been finalized yet. The sequence Aankhen is set to be on floor by May.
Based on the Gujarati play ‘Andhalo Pato‘, Aankhen had Amitabh Bachchan Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen in the lead roles, while Bipasha Basu and Kashmira Shah appeared in cameos.
