While talking to Bombay Times, Salman Khan confirmed he will be producing the film. The Sultan actor said, “A Bengali man, who moved from India to America in the late 60s, struggled and created one of America’s most iconic brands. We are going to tell the story of Somen Banerjee, a man driven by fierce ambition, on celluloid.”
Well, the story of Somen Banerjee has all shades of a gangster film and the story is really going to excite many. Reportedly, the makers of the film are working on the script and interestingly, Salman Khan will produce this feature film and also, there will be a mini-series of the film as well.
Chippendales is a touring dance troupe best known for its male striptease performances and for its dancers’ distinctive upper body costume of a bow tie and shirt cuffs worn on an otherwise bare torso.
It will be interesting to see what made Salman Khan to pick this story for his next production venture. We can’t wait to check out this biopic on the big screen, how about you?
