Revealed: Sunny Leone's Leela Plot

A lot of speculation revolved around Sunny Leone‘s Leela, as it was a direct copy paste from Deepika Padukone‘s character in the movie Ram Leela.

Ram Leela got Deepika a lot of fame, and a rumoured beau in the name of her co-star and good friend Ranveer Singh. What’s more is that just how Deepika Padukone played Leela, so is what Sunny Leone is- on and off screen.

The first look of Sunny Leone grabbed eyeballs as she is covered in gold. Sunny will be seen playing a princess for the movie Leela.

The movie shows Sunny Leone the princess who is in love with a common man. But the story has a twist. Leone plays not one or two, but three characters in the movie! Jay Bhanushali of Hate Story 2 is cast opposite Sunny Leone, and we expect the two to set the stage on fire, knowing their movie history!

However, debut director Bobby Khan insists that the movie is a clean family drama, but looking at his actress’ choice, he obviously is going to try his best to call the movie an U/A from the censor board.

Bobby Khan seems to be a big fan of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, because the story did not end at the title.

Infact, as per sources, Sunny Leone will also be seen performing on the song ‘Dholi Taaro’ from Bhansali‘s movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which featured former couple Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She is not only shooting for Leela, but will also be seen in comedy Mastizaade opposite Tushar Kapoor and comedian Vir Das and One Night Stand opposite Rana Daggubati. Reportedly, Sunny has also signed as the lead for Hate Story 3.

Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series said, “We are very excited for the project Leela and its an outstanding script. One will see Sunny Leone in a complete different avatar.” This will bring together producers Bhushan Kumar and ace choreographer Ahmed Khan. Producer Ahmed Khan said, “It will be a very enthusiastic journey producing a dance musical with Sunny as the female lead, as she is a beautiful actress, and we will get to present her in a new way.”

With Sunny Leone in it, you can expect a lot of electrifying tracks. She looks vivacious on the poster and we are sure India will be exposed to a completely new kind of cinema with Leela.

Leela is the first film produced by T-series head Bhushan Kumar and choreographer Ahmed Khan. The film has been extensively shot in Rajasthan and London.
