Ritesh Sidhwani who will collaborate with Akshay Kumar for the first time with GOLD, said to a leading daily, “Akshay Kumar is a great actor who is doing some great work. I and Farhan have never worked with him before. We found an opportunity in this script and Reema wanted him. So it’s happened and we are glad.”

It seems that the Rustom star is pleased by doing films that have a patriotic theme. His last release Rustom also had the patriotic theme and was loved by everyone.

Apart from this, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Jolly LLB 2 which is slated to release on February 10, 2017.
