Salman Khan Applauds Dabbo Malik’s Son Armaan Malik

Salman Arman Malik-42[tps_footer]Salman Khan is known to encourage new talent and that was precisely the reason why he was present at the debut album launch of Dabbo Malik’s son Armaan Malik.

Salman unveiled the album along with Salim Merchant and the event was attended by the likes of Alka Yagnik, Aditi Singh Sharma, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy and Poonam Dhillon.

Salman and Armaan have been connected with each other much prior to the launch of this album. The first connect is through Daboo. He has composed music for films like Tumko Na Bhool Payenge, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, Hum Tumhaare Hain Sanam and I Proud To Be An Indian all of them starring Salman. More recently, Armaan is doing two songs of Salman’s latest film Jai Ho that has opened to mixed reactions.

Armaan’s album comprises seven original tracks along with one remix version. The genre of the album is contemporary pop and it encompasses EDM, R&B and Rock all in one.

The album promises to strike a chord with club hoppers, but we can’t comment anything before we get to hear it for ourselves. The album is being distributed by Universal Music India and has been produced by Armaan’s elder brother Amal Malik.

At the launch, Armaan sang some songs from the album and also treated the audience to a preview of his debut music video Krazy Konnection featuring Salim Merchant.

Speaking about this young eighteen-year-old talent, Salman said, “He is one of the most enthusiastic young singers I know along with his brother. To make melody comes from his father but the energy is all them. Their parents have done a lot for these two kids and I am sure they will not let their parents down He’s struck the right chords, the right feel and I am sure he will go a long way.”

Salim too is all praises for Armaan and feels that Armaan has a great future in music.

Speaking at the event, Salman dismissed reports that he was averse to acting in remakes. “I will do remakes. Who said I won’t do them? I never said that I won’t do remakes. Whenever a good remake comes up, I will do it, but my forthcoming movies are of a different kind,” he noted.

Here’s wishing Armaan all the best and we do hope that his album strikes a musical chord with the listeners.
