Salman Khan Seeks Permission From Bombay High Court To Travel Dubai

The actor only recently wrapped up his much awaited film Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s shooting in Kashmir. On Wednesday, Salman Khan approached Bombay High Court to seek permission to travel to Dubai.

Kick star Salman Khan has a show in Dubai later this month and in order to attend it, he approached the Bombay High Court, seeking permission so that he can travel out of the country to Dubai. On May 6, the actor was sentenced to five years in jail of ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’ by the sessions court in his hit-and-run case. After two days, Salman Khan was granted bail and the court suspended his sentence pending the hearing and disposal of his appeal against the conviction.

At that time, the High Court had said that Salman would need to seek the court’s permission every time he wishes to leave the country. On Wednesday, the actor filed an application saying that he wants to travel to Dubai for a show that takes place on May 29. A vacation bench of the High Court is most likely to hear the appeal next week

On September 28, 2002, Salman Khan’s Toyota Land Cruiser ran over five people. One of them died on the spot and four others were severely wounded. On work front, Salman Khan’s pretty caught up this year with films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
