Salman Khan said in his tweet “Jst saw happy new year ka promo, its Kick ass.”
The words that Salman Khan chose to praise Shah Rukh‘s trailer is the name of his recent release ‘Kick’, which has shattered the records of Shah Rukh Khan‘s Chennai Express to be the second highest grossing movie of all time after Aamir Khan‘s Dhoom 3 .
Kick was Sajid Nadiadwala‘s directorial debut .
Whether the rivalry is over and Salman Khan has genuinely praised the movie and or has chose to tease Shah Rukh Khan with the KICK ASS message that he left on twitter for Shah Rukh to beat the collections of his movie Kick remains to be seen .
The Past
Media has always been abuzz with news that arch-enemies Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have buried the hatchet. For many months now, there has been talk of a thawing.
Things began to look up for the warring Khan’s last Eid, when they warmly embraced each other at MLA Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party. Since then, allegations and counter-justifications swam fast and thick, with the two maintaining it was just a symbolic gesture.
The two hugged it out once again, in public, at The Star Guild Awards.It is said that awards season brings out the most camaraderie, at least on the surface, and Shah Rukh and Salman proved this theory on Wednesday. Both were dressed in dapper black, and hugged on stage.
This year also at Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party it looked like just formality between the two.
