MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s entire family has temporarily moved away from their landmark address – Galaxy Apartments at Bandra, since it is undergoing renovation.
Former actor and script writer Salim Khan with wife Salma and youngest daughter Arpita have moved into a rented apartment in Bandra itself.
Confirms a source, “Salim saab has rented a floor in a building in Bandra for nearly six months because the first floor of Galaxy is getting a face-lift.”
The Khans have always been known for their open-door policy. We hear that every friend and well-wisher is welcome to walk into their home, unannounced. They plan to continue with the generosity even in their makeshift apartment. Close friends are regularly being invited for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan continues to stay in his one-and-a-half room apartment on the ground floor of the Galaxy Apartments.
Salman Khan is, for sure, the only world famous personality who lives in such humble quarters. The ‘Being Human’ philanthropist’s residence measures an approximate 500-600 square feet only.
