Salman Khan’s Plea Rejected For Black Buck Case

Police--salmanKhanNot everything is ending well for Salman Khan, the year 2015 has been of court tours for the Dabangg star who has just got a sigh of relief from the 2002 hit and run case.

The bad news is that Salman’s 1998 black buck case is still pending in Jodhpur court. The actor is accused of illegal poaching of three endangered chinkaras and a black buck during the shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain.

The forest department had registered a case against the actor claiming that the license of the arms used by the actor for the illegal poaching had expired and thus was also said to have possession of illegal arms during the poaching.

As per the regulations, Black Buck is a protected species and hunting the same is a punishable offence.

However, the Jodhpur court rejected Salman Khan‘s plea to reexamine the five witnesses in relation to case.

Recently, Salman was granted an exemption to appear at a court hearing citing health issues and the chief judicial magistrate had accepted the actor’s application but with the recent rejection to reexamine the witnesses there is no relief for the actor anytime soon.

Besides Salman Khan, actors Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre are also accused in the same case.
