Salman Yusuff Khan won the dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 1 and as promised to the winner of that season, he was given the opportunity to appear in the title song of Wanted along with superstar Salman Khan.
Salman Yusuff Khan then did the music video Dance Of Death for the movie Rakta Charitra, was a choreographer for Yana Gupta in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, Isha Sharvani in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and last but not the least paired with Drashti Dhami for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 and was declared the winner.
Salman’s mentor, Remo D’souza cast him in his directorial debut ABCD: Anybody Can Dance; the film that was released on February 08, 2013.
Salman Yusuff Khan married Faiza Harmain, his girlfriend of ten years in a nikaah held in Bangalore on December 27, 2013. They got engaged on December 09, 2013 the same date he had proposed to Faiza a decade ago.
“It’s a close-knit family affair. I have invited a few industry friends. Faiza has been my only girlfriend. We have been together for ten years and are high-school sweethearts.” Salman had stated post his wedding.
One even saw Salman in this year’s Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5. Salman Khan, who was considered one of the strongest contestant on Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi 5, was very disappointed in himself for having failed to make it to the final list.
Also the good news is that Salman Khan is getting ready for his big launch as a leading man. The film would be produced by Remo D’souza. The yet untitled project would be a dance-action film to be directed by Shakir Ali Khan.
Salman is excited about his impending launch as a leading man, “Yes, Remo Sir is launching me in his first production. Looking forward to doing some outstanding dance and action in the film.”
