MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt was released from Yerawada Jail in Pune for a period of 14 days because of a furlough. And now, a day before he was to return to the jail, the actor has been granted another 14 days furlough.
Sanjay Dutt needed more time for the treatment of his leg, which was the reason he had been granted the furlough earlier too.
When he was released from jail on 1 October, Sanjay Dutt had said, “I’m a law abiding citizen. I want to spend this time peacefully with my family.”
The police confirmed the extension of the furlough and Sanjay Dutt will not get to spend another two weeks tending to his ailments.
