With the latest rumours that actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being denied permission into Wankhede Stadium to shoot for Jazbaa, the news is truly false.
Director of Jazbaa Sanjay Gupta clarified on the false news that got spread like a wildfire. He tweeted clarifying the news, What’s with all the big hulla-gulla about JAZBAA shoot getting cancelled coz of IPL. Wankhede stadium had nothing to do with it.

In his tweet Sanjay Gupta said that police had denied the permission to shoot on the roads of Marine Drive because of IPL traffic all over. There is no question of seeking permission from Wankhede authorities. The director got miffed saying in his tweet, “Stop getting extra enthu with conspiracy theories”

The film stars actors Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen playing the character of a lawyer in the film and bad guy opposite her will be Kaminey fame Chandan Roy Sanyal. Director Sanjay Gupta’s aim to showcase the film at Cannes Film Festival has speeded up the shoot of the film and hence the release date has been finalized as October 9 for now.
