MUMBAI: ‘Satyagraha’ trailer was launched amidst much fanfare at a suburban restaurant a couple of days ago. But there seems to be much speculation over the film’s release date.
‘Satyagraha’ directed by Prakash Jha, and having a huge star-cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and others was initially scheduled for 15 August release.
Later, Prakash Jha had said that the film will be released on 23 August.
The latest that one is hearing that the film’s release has now been fixed for 30 August.
This means that the two BIG releases ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara’ get more than two-weeks at a stretch to carry out business without having competition.
We tried contacting Prakash Jha Productions and UTV Motion Pictures regarding the shift, but both were unavailable for comments.
