King Khan has again proved that he is the king; Shah Rukh Khan has become the king of Twitter with 13 million followers. The superstar is the second most followed Bollywood celebrity on Twitter after Amitabh Bachchan who joined the site after SRK; the senior Bachchan has 14.7 million followers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi the global icon is pushed back by King Khan on the micro blogging site; PM Modi is known to be active on Twitter but is lagging behind in terms of followers on the site as compared to the Badshah of Bollywood at 12.2 million followers.
Nevertheless, Shah Rukh has set his cards right amongst all the three Khans too; the actor has maximum followers when compared to Salman Khan and Aamir Khan having 11.5 million and 12.5 million followers respectively.
Sadly when compared to Hollywood stars, the B-Town celebrities are far behind. Lady Gaga the most celebrated artist across the globe has 46.5 million followers, apart from her; celebrity artist Pitbull has 20.2 million followers on the site. Bollywood stars have a long way to go when followers of Hollywood artists are compared.
On the professional front Shah Rukh will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Dilwale starring opposite Kajol, the film is already in news as SRK and Kajol will be sharing the screen space once again after the dud My Name is Khan. The movie Dilwale will release on Christmas this year.
