Well the reason for this specific date is the fact that on January 02, 2014, the first poster of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Happy New Year will be launched on Twitter and Facebook.
The poster will be first sent to all fans and fan clubs on the social media sites as a gratification for their support, said a official statement. A huge social media campaign has been set around the launch of the first poster of the film and the lead actors are actively participating in the campaign for the first poster launch.
Besides King Khan and Deepika Padukone, Happy New Year also stars Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Jackie Shroff and Vivaan Shah. Director Sajid Khan will be making a guest appearance in the film while Malaika Arora Khan and Prabhu Deva would be seen in a cameo role. The film is being directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.
Deepika’s associate with the Badshah began in the year 2007 with Om Shanti Om, the film that marked Deepika’s debut. It was Farah Khan‘s second film as a director post Main Hoon Naa. Om Shanti Om created history at the Box-Office. Both Ms. Padukone and Shah Rukh once again teamed up for Chennai Express in the year 2013 and needless to say that this film too created records at the Box-Office.
Happy New Year has been extensively shot in the prestigious Palm Islands, Dubai. These islands are in the shape of palm trees and have been artificially created off the coast in Dubai.
