Shah Rukh Khan’s much awaited film Raees is now ready to go on floors in the last week of the month. Reportedly the major shooting of the movie is postponed to September.

Earlier Ridesh Sidwani of Excel Entertainment said that film’s shooting would start by March 28 in Mumbai this year, and is planned to release in Eid next year.
He also said that major schedule of the film will take off in the month of September as Shah Rukh Khan has given commitments for the shooting of Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale.

The set for Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees is being made at Film City. Raees is a movie set in the 80’s and the team is recreating certain parts of Ahmedabad from that time.
SRK would be playing the role of gangster and actress Mahira Khan would be playing his love interest. The brilliant actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the role of cop chasing the superstar in the movie.
