A few days ago, there were headlines that Ranveer’s Padmavati will be clashing King Khan’s film with Aanand L Rai in December 2018. As the shooting of Padmavati, starring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor has not yet started, the news came out that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has postponed the release date. Well, according to sources, the news in untrue. As per sources, Padmavati will be releasing in December 2017 only. The source added that how can Deepika not have any release in 2017? All these are just speculations and SLB has not pushed forward the release date.
The film has been facing a lot of issues. Initially, Sanjay wasn’t getting an actor to play Deepika’s husband. When Shahid agreed, there was news that Ranveer isn’t ready to share a screen space with another big actor. Apparently, he told Bhansali to scrap Sasha’s role and have only a came for him. Well, looks like the issues are now cooling down and the team will soon start shooting for the film. On the other hand, Shahid won’t be joining the star cast soon as he is on his paternal leave.
