Sonam Kapoor is the new lucky girl in Bollywood. After bagging the lead role opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, she is reportedly being considered the lead in ‘Raees’ with none other than Shah Rukh Khan.
Sonam Kapoor is the most adored fashionista in Bollywood and it will be interesting to see her paired opposite to Shah Rukh Khan. Though, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ will be her first film with Salman Khan as a leading lady, she had already appeared with Salman Khan in ‘Saawariya’ where he did a cameo while Ranbir Kapoor was the lead.

For Sonam Kapoor, this will be her first film with the King Khan. She had lot of apprehensions when she was sharing screen space with the Dabangg Khan to bring in the needed chemistry. Now it’s Shah Rukh Khan’s turn to make the fashionista comfortable on screen.
Her latest film ‘Khoobsoorat’ with Fawad Khan was appreciated because of the lead pair and their chemistry. Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for the film ‘Fan’ after which he will start for ‘Raees’. On his role he said that,’ “Raees is more of an earthy role and I am a very urban actor. So I found that interesting.”
Rahul Dholakia will direct Raees and it’s slated to release in 2015. The cast of the film is quite an interesting one to watch out for with Shah Rukh Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead along with Farhan Akhtar in a key role.
It will be interesting to watch this fresh Jodi on the screen. Let us wait and see which Khan romances Sonam Kapoor best.
