The Badshah of Bollywood enjoys hosting award functions as it gives him an opportunity to return the love of his fans. “I’ve always enjoyed hosting award functions and making people around me happy and Screen Awards gives me that opportunity, the chance to return all the love and the wishes that my audiences have always blessed me with,” said Shah Rukh in a statement
In the statement, Shah Rukh also shared his insights on his relationship with the brand. “This is the 20th edition of Screen Awards and the first year of association with Life OK and I know we will have a long relationship ahead,” he said.
The awards will celebrate the achievement and excellence of Hindi as well as Marathi cinema.
Also, the much awaited nominations list is finally out. This time the who’s who of Bollywood will be competing with each other in multiple categories, to win the coveted Awards. The announcement of the nomination list and the Jury for the prestigious awards happened in Mumbai a couple of days ago.
The nomination ceremony saw the coming together of Bollywood and eminent Television Celebrities from the Hindi and Marathi entertainment fraternity.
As the stars descended at the nomination party, the host of the evening was the popular television star Karanvir Bohra, who has been an integral part of the Life OK family since its inception.
Commenting on this momentous occasion for Life OK, Ajit Thakur, General Manager, Life OK, said, “Life OK recently turned two and our endeavor is now to make entertainment bigger and better for our viewers. The 20th Annual Life OK Screen Awards is an important step in that direction. Screen comes with a history of credibility, which only makes the association for us more valuable. The nominations have been announced and it is clear that it will be a tough call for the jury but the best will win.”
The eminent jury for the 20th Annual Life OK Screen Awards comprises of Govind Nihalani, Atul Agnihotri, Homi Adajania, John Matthew Mathan, Moushumi Chatterji, Prosenjit, Sonali Kulkarni, Rahul Dholakia, Kiran Shantaram, Sriram Raghavan, Umesh Shukla, Shreyas Talpade, Sam Balsara, Tarun Katial amongst others.
