Shah Rukh Khan has managed to rake in big moolah this Diwali with Farah Khan directorial and red chillies entertainment production Happy New Year.
Aamir Khan manages to retain his top spot with Dhoom 3, where he starred opposite Katrina Kaif in the lead and Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. Aamir Khan may even break it with his upcoming film Raj Kumar Hirani’s PK starrer Anushka Sharma.
Aamir Khan and Raju Hirani go hand in hand and have an impeccable record not to mention the movie that started breaking the trends of all previous Box Office figures was Aamir Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani combination in 2009 with 3 Idiots .

Happy New Year which had a record breaking opening day & weekend in India, was released in 40 countries across various international markets and opened with approx. USD 8.1 million.
