Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan, two of the best dancers of this industry, will battle it out with their movies on October 2. Both Bang Bang! and Haider are two different films based on two completely different story. But not many know that Bang Bang! too was supposed to be a Shahid film.
There was a time when Shahid had too many projects in his kitty and Bang Bang! was one of them. He was also supposed to do a film with Karan Johar and one with Maneesh Sharma and Shaad Ali. But all fell through. He left Bang Bang! thinking about the comparisons he would have to face with Tom Cruise who featured in the original Hollywood film Knight And Day.
Well, we don’t mind at all Shahid. Nobody is comparing Hrithik with Tom Cruise at all here and so we feel you missed out on a good film. Just imagine how it would be if October 2 had turned into a Shahid Kapoor Friday?
