It was bound to happen. There is a limit to all the gimmicks and jokes one can crack on a person, especially if the person is a celebrity. It’s time for Rajnikanth to react and when he does, everyone listens (pun intended).
Main Hoon Rajinikanth is supposedly a film which pays tribute to Rajinikanth and the latter isn’t amused about it. The veteran actor has filed a case against the film for not soliciting his permission for the same.
Rajinikanth alleged that his name has been misused by the makers of the film. He wasn’t even consulted for the same. The story wasn’t shared with him either. Apparently, he also has issues with the content in the film. The Madras High Court has granted the injunction till September 25.
Rajinikanth alleged that the producer wanted to benefit by using his superhero image. Well, we aren’t surprised at this. Rajinikanth is an enigma. The command he has over his fans is phenomenal. Even then, the actor is equally humble and grounded. No wonder that people want to cash in on the hoopla he creates.
