Shahid Kapoor is enjoying the phase of fatherhood right now. The actor and her wife Mira Rajput became proud parents of baby girl, Misha recently. Shahid is seen spending quality time with his daughter. The actor has surely proved that family comes first by his adorable pictures with wife Mira and daughter Misha. The actor has made many honest confessions about her wife and recently he had also revealed that he feels protected when he is around his ladylove Mira Rajput.
The Kaminey star attended the finale of Movie Mela at the ongoing Jio MAMI 18th Film Festival yesterday. Sasha looked handsome as always and was seen in a checkered shirt and denims. In the event, the actor had a conversation with Anupama Chopra and Rajeev Masand. The actor opened about his journey in Bollywood and his upcoming film Padmavati. Apart from this, Shahid as always made some candid confessions about Mira and Misha. He opened up about how life has changed after marriage.
Talking about his wife, he revealed that Mira and he bring out the best in each other. “I recall that after winning awards for Haider, I wanted to sit with someone and talk to someone. It was an empty house and now there is happiness.” Sasha also confessed that Mira gives him a fresh perspective to things. Shahid who is a proud father of baby Misha said that he cannot define what being a father is. “I don’t want to leave. I guess a man who is a father will understand. It can’t be defined. It gives you a lot of strength. I feel strong because I want to fight for Misha and be my best for her. I want to be better every day because I want her to be proud of me”.
When asked if being a husband or a father had any impact on acting, he replied, “I am hardly working. I guess the first thing that happened to me was going jobless. I don’t know if it has changed me as an actor, but it has changed me as a person. I understand priorities in my life. I understand what I want to give my time to. When you are single, there are so many things that you can do. I was living alone for more than 10 years. So, everything was possible. I was master of my own will.”
Kapoor also opened up about the struggles he faces as being a father. He said, “With a baby, I wake up every 3 hours. I change diapers and most of my T-shirts have Misha’s vomit and milk stains on them.”
Well, we must say Shahid Kapoor is surely a devoted hubby as well as a proud daddy.
