Shahid said, “Who are these three? According to me, the heroes of the film are director Vishal Bharadwaj and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. You will have to find the third one. As far as I know, there are three principal characters in Rangoon.”
Shahid Kapoor correctly points out that the helmers of the film are the true stars. He said, “These filmmakers create their world and provide actors an opportunity to showcase themselves. It is an actor’s honour to be working with them. We are all playing characters according to the director’s vision.”
Rangoon, set against the backdrop of World War II, is Shahid Kapoor‘s third collaboration with director Vishal Bhardwaj after Kaminey (2009) and Haider (2014), both of which helped establish Shahid as an actor not just a Bollywood hero.
