[tps_footer]Shilpa Shetty is all set with her maiden venture as a producer with Sunny Deol and Harman Baweja starrer Dishkiyaoon. Shilpa has revealed that she likes to believe that the upcoming film is Harman’s first film as an actor.
“For me this is Harman’s first film, I really think so. You are really going to like this new Harman after this film because I really feel he hasn’t been taped of his new potential, he is a very hard working guy, has really worked hard for his character in the film. And he has all the right to receive your love and appreciation,” a very upbeat and excited Shilpa said.
Agreeing with his producer Shilpa Shetty, Harman, said that the movie was challenging and almost like re-invention for him. “I have never done such an intense action pact gangster look. But it was fun, I met few gangsters did some research and saw the wild side of myself which I have never seen before.” stated a very confident Harman.
At the event, Shilpa Shetty, Harman Baweja and Ayesha Khanna launched the song Tu Mere Type Ka Nahi Hai from their film Dishkiyaoon.
“It’s a big day for me, I got to play a different role (producer), and it’s a great privilege to introduce my lead characters Harman Baweja and Ayesha Khanna. Please give them the same love you all gave to me in my first film.” Shilpa said at the launch.

Very few people know this but Dishkiyaoon was actually conceptualized as a short film. Its duration was just meant to be fifteen minutes and first time director Sanamjit SinghTalwar, who had come from America to India so as to make a career in Bollywood, just wanted the short film to act as a show reel for him.
“Since Sanamjit didn’t have any Bollywood backing, he realized that the best way to showcase his talent would be by making a short film and presenting it to the actors and producers. He came up with a fifteen page script for Dishkiyaoon and happened to have a chance meeting with me at my father’s Harry Baweja’s office and as they say the rest was history.” informed Harman.
Dishkiyaoon is about the Mumbai Underworld, has been directed Sanamjit Singh Talwar and is set to hit the silver screen on March 28, 2014.[/tps_footer]
