The film industry is divided now with the decision of banning Pakistani actors. The decision was taken after the gruesome Uri attacks in which18 jawans lost their lives because of the attacks and the whole nation is grieving their loss. After Uri attack, MNS demanded Pakistani actors to leave the country in 48 hours. Actors including Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar were asked to leave the country in the given time or they will be pushed out.
Yesterday, at an event in Delhi, Salman Khan was asked to comment on the same. The actor said “they were terrorists, these are artistes. Two different issues.” When asked to elaborate, Mr. Khan said, “Are these artistes terrorists? They come here on a visa, who gives them that visa? Our government gives them visas.”
Soon Salman Khan received flak from all the political parties. Even Raj Thackeray slammed Salman Khan over speaking in support of Pakistani actors. Shiv Sena on Saturday said that Salman Khan too should migrate to Pakistan if he likes the Pakistani actors so much.
“Salman Khan needs to be taught a lesson. If he has so much love for Pakistani artists, he should migrate there,” said Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande
The issue has become serious by all means and the political party has also stated that Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Raees’ which stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will not have a smooth release in the nation. Additionally, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which stars Fawad Khan is also going to face problems.
