Andaaz Apna Apna (1994): While it is pretty clear that Bollywood’s two biggest Khans, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan might never work together again, their film Andaaz Apna Apna is surely a cult classic. The film offered humour, handsomeness, and romance appealing to the youth. But since its release in 1994, the film was initially not accepted well by the audience and thus failed to rake in much at the box office. But few years down the line with Aamir and Salman’s immense popularity the film became popular.

Umrao Jaan (1981): Rekha gave the performance of her life in the film Umrao Jaan that released in 1981. Her beauty and the perfection in her elegance struck a chord with the audience, but not during the film’s release. Being a woman centric film, Umrao Jaan for some reason did not garner the attention that it should have got. And the same reflected in its box office performance. The film won many National Awards and is now considered an all time classic.
