Rumoured lovers Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra were recently invited to launch the season 4 of the much-awaited MTV Coke Studio. MTV Coke Studio, known for its amazing fusion based episodes has gathered a mass audience all over the country. Given Alia’s love for music and the huge fan following that Alia and Sidharth have, MTV couldn’t have invited anyone better for the launch of the show.
Dressed like her perky self Alia Bhatt looked like a breeze of fresh air that she is. Expressing her love for music the 21-year-old actress who lent her voice for Sooha Saha in her film Highway said, “I think Coke Studio has become a music statement now. People say ‘we need the coke studio type of feel’ in the songs. I am a complete music lover and I need music all the time while driving, while getting ready, especially while getting ready! I’m glad that Coke Studio will be have a year-long running now and I hope to be a part of this journey in some way.”
Looking absolutely cool in his black hoodie and jean attire, Sidharth Malhotra also gave his insight on MTV Coke Studio giving props to the show. Known for their steamy chemistry in The Student Of The Year, both Alia and Sidharth have managed to climb the steps towards success in the film industry. Despite the rumours of them dating, the couple seemed very comfortable in each other’s presence and attended the event like close friends.
On the work front Alia Bhatt will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in two of her upcoming films Udta Punjab and Shaandaar, whereas Sidharth will be seen in Brothers starring Akshay Kumar.
