Smriti Irani Teaming Up With Ekta Kapoor After 8 Years?

The iconic Tulsi, Smriti Irani with Ekta Kapoor‘s direction was a trend and we all were a fan until it was stretched out of is limit.

A news that has now come up about this legendary duo is a good news for all their fans. Smriti Irani who recently attended Ekta Kapoor‘s Diwali bash has been quiet in the news and it is speculated that the two might team up after a good 8 years.

Smriti Irani along with husband Zubin Irani flew down from Delhi to Mumbai to attend Ekta Kapoor‘s Diwali bash which was on 29th October which is the very reason why it’s been speculated that the two might team up soon. If the reports are to be believed Zubin Irani and Smriti Irani spent a private time at Ekta‘s residence away from all the guests. All of this was kept notice of and looking at the conversations the Telly world might receive a good news and witness the come back of the soap queen soon.

A source told a tabloid, “Sixteen years ago Ekta and Smriti created television history with their association on one of the most popular soap operas of all time, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. In 2007, they had a fall-out and Smriti left the show. However, their relationship today is very strong and there is a definite possibility of the two teaming up again.

We all remember the massive fallout these two had been in the news for in the year 2007. Reports also  suggested that Smriti had apparently walked out of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi after a spat with Ekta. The latter had roped in Gautami Kapoor for Tulsi’ part but the same didn’t work out as the TRP ratings had dropped massively. As a result. Ekta got Smriti back in the show in the year 2008.

Just to let know this isn’t the first time that the two have met after the show ended. The two were spotted last year at the Lal Bagcha Raja which made quiet the headlines and they also attended the Ganapati at Rishi Kapoor’s house. Smriti had also walked out of the film “All is Well” where she was playing the role of Rishi Kapoor’s wife.

It has always come to our notice Smriti never totally lost contact with acting. Even when she was sworn as the Minister for Human Resource Development in Narendra Modi government two years ago, she continued acting. Umesh Shukla, who directed All Is Well was all praises for her. “Even while Smriti was contesting the elections she was very co-operative and professional. We never had to cancel a day’s shooting because of her. Even when she became a minister she made no re-adjustments in the dates. She always joined
us as per schedule,” the director said in an earlier interview.
