Sunny Deol and his son, Karan were spotted in a jetty on their way to Madh Island, which is in the outskirts of Mumbai to shoot for the final leg of their upcoming film, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. “Sunny prefers to commute by jetty as it saves the travel time rather than being stuck in Mumbai traffic,” said a source close to the development.
The team has been shooting silently in and around Mumbai since a last few days. The leading lady of the film, Sahher Bamba will also be a part of the month long schedule.
“Sunny isn’t compromising on any aspect to make sure the film proves to be an ideal launch pad for his son,” the source quipped.
It is a contemporary romantic film, and talks about how love is being perceived by the youth in today’s time. Major chunk of the film is set in Manali, and the team also shot in sub-zero temperature. “Few portions were shot at very high altitudes in the winters and being early risers, Father-Son preferred to shoot early in the morning.” Added the source.
Being a thorough professional, Sunny often made it a point to start and wrap up the shoot on time.
Sahher was roped in for the film after auditioning a lot of local talent from Shimla. She happens to be one of the very few people from Himachal alongside Kangana Ranaut and Preity Zinta to have made it to the Hindi film industry. Apart from Manali and Mumbai, a minor chunk of the film is also set in Delhi.
