Priyanka Chopra who essays the role of Kashibai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, had earlier taken Marathi lessons before the film went on floors this year and will now have her Marathi diction coach also attend her dubbing sessions for the film.
Says a source, “ Priyanka’s trainer is always present on the sets whenever she is shooting. Since her training was intermittent because she was shuffling between India and the US for her other commitments, Priyanka took special permission from the makers to allow her trainer to be present during her dubbing sessions for the film to ensure her diction and pronunciations are authentic”.
Bajirao Mastani starring Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra is based on Ranveer Singh who will play the role of a Maratha warrior Peshwa Baji Rao. The romantic saga revolves around him, his second wife Mastani and his first wife Kashibai.
