Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma returned to Mumbai from New Delhi on Friday for their second wedding reception!
The newlyweds Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli returned to the city of Mumbai on last Friday. The couple married each other in a very private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. And is now giving receptions in India to their relatives and friends who earlier could not be a part of their celebration.
The first one was held in New Delhi on December 21. Both Anushka and Virat looked divine in their Sabyasachi attires. While the actress looked like a beauty to behold in her red banarasi saree, the cricketer looked handsome in his black bandhgala sherwani.
The Delhi reception became a grad affair due to the presence of the Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. It was also attended by Kohli’s cricketer friends Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan.
And now it is today that the couple will host another one in Mumbai for their friends from the film and cricket industry. The venue of the grand event will be St. Regis in Lower Parel. The 800 square foot pillar-less Astor Ballroom will see the presence of the who’s who of the tinsel town.
The bash is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM with the Arabian Sea providing a beautiful backdrop to the gala. The invitations to the guests for the reception were equally beautiful. Along with a small sapling, the invitation had the couple’s name embossed on a glass sheet.

Post the reception, the lovely couple will fly to South Africa to welcome the New Year together. After which Virat will continue with his cricket series. And the actress will return to Mumbai to resume her film shoot for Aanand L Rai’s untitled film.
