MUMBAI: Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Kush Sinha is all set to realize his dream of being a director…

We have it from a reliable source that Kush Sinha, brother to Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha, is ready to helm a project, post assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali in ‘Saawariya’ and more recently, Abhinav Kashyap in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Besharam’.

Kush Sinha began his film career by assisting auteur director Bhansali way back in 2007, on his classic celluloid take ‘Saawariya’. Since then, Kush has taken baby steps in the industry, even managing to bag Abhinav Kashyap’s Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabangg’ as assistant director.

He is also an AD on the sets of the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, Abhinav Kashyap-helmed ‘Besharam’, which is currently in production. As we had reported, Ranbir and Kush have been getting along very well on sets, bonding between shots and exchanging notes on filmmaking. SEE REPORT

It has now come to light that Kush has higher ambitions, and is all set to turn director, with his sister Sonakshi playing the lead in his film. Kush had said a while back to the press, “I believe it is common sense. When I have two actors in my house, why wouldn’t I use them.”

Says our source,”Kush will roll out his directorial debut project shortly, later this year.”
