Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram to post this beautiful message after her maternal grandmother passed away in the morning!
The Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor’s maternal grandmother Draupadi Hingorani Bhambani passed away today, in the morning. The 89-year old lady was loved immensely by her granddaughters Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor.
Both the sisters took to the social media website, Instagram to bid a final goodbye to their grandmother. They shared a lovely picture of themselves with the lady and posted it along with an emotional message.
Sonam Kapoor posted the picture with the message, “Love you nani, will miss you so much. Thank you for teaching me everything. 23/5/1928 to 29/4/2017 Draupadi/Duru Hingorani Bhambani always in our hearts.”

Her producer sister, Rhea Kapoor also shared her childhood picture with her grandmother on Instagram saying, “What a lady, what a legacy. I will always remember you as my spirit and my strength nani. I love you forever. #duru.”
These messages clearly show how close the two sisters were to their grandmother and also that her demise has left the Kapoor family sad. Our deepest condolences are with the Kapoor family.
Talking about Sonam Kapoor’s work front, the actress is next to be seen in Veere Di Wedding. She is currently on a break but will soon start shooting for her sister, Rhea Kapoor’s film, Veere Di Wedding. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar and will be co-produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.
