Sonam Kapoor: I Did Not Take A Dig At Deepika Padukone

Dolly Ki Doli’ actress Sonam Kapoor is not happy with the unwanted controversy about the words-war between her and Deepika Padukone. The fashionista is often caught up in storms of controversies. The recent controversy began soon after Sonam reportedly said that she would never publicize her plans to do social service. You must be wondering what’s so controversial about that statement, right? Well, it became subject of everyone’s attention because Sonam said it right after ‘Happy New Year’ actress Deepika Padukone declared her plans to support the cause of mental health awareness.

This gave way to the whole fire that Sonam apparently took shots at Deepika Padukone. Finally, Sonam just had it enough, she pointed out, “I didn’t even mention her name but as usual my words were lost in translation”.

People are always all ear when any news, be it a pure rumour or so, is related to two B-town divas, Sonam and Deepika. After all, Sonam has said a lot of shocking things when the question was related to Deepika. In the past, Sonam has openly called out Deepika a clotheshorse on her sense of dressing during a chat show.

However, this time around, Sonam claims that she did not take a dig at Deepika Padukone and that her words were twisted. Sonam tried to clear the air by saying, “I don’t even know what causes Deepika supports. I respect her, she’s always gracious.”

Sonam’s ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ releases tomorrow, that is 23 January, 2015. Directed by Abhishek Dogra, ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ tells a story about a con girl who deceives innocent men in marrying her and soon after all the ritual of marriage is done, she robs them and takes off on her first night of marriage.
