Sonam Kapoor is one such actress who is known for her bold statements. The actress always speaks her mind out and her statements always make it to the headlines. The beautiful diva made her Bollywood debut with Saawariya. The film also saw the debut of Ranbir Kapoor. Saawariya that had locked horns with Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om tanked at the box office. However, Sonam Kapoor has shared screen space with SRK’s best friend Salman Khan in two films-Saawariya and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Interestingly, Sonam Kapoor has never shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress recently opened up if she wishes to work with King Khan.
In an interview with a popular magazine, Sonam Kapoor was asked if she wants to work with Shah Rukh Khan. To this, she replied, “I don’t think Shah Rukh Khan wants to work with me. There have been so many opportunities where I could have worked with him but he… I wanted to work with him and I reached out to him as well. But I never got the opportunity. I guess it’ll happen whenever he feels like working with me.”
The Neerja star also revealed that when SRK wants to work with her, she will work with him. But she feels that he doesn’t want to work with her as of now.
On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in Veere Di Wedding which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Dear Zindagi opposite Alia Bhatt which will be releasing on November 25, 2016.
