Anurag Kashyap along with the cast of his much anticipated upcoming film Bombay Velvet was spotted flying to Goa. Oh well, in case you are wondering that they are leaving for a vacation, you have got it all wrong. The team is heading to Goa to promote their upcoming film Bombay Velvet. Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar along with the director of the film Anurag Kashyap will stay in Goa for few days to promote their film.

This promotional activity is “invite only” event and will go on for three days, starting from Monday. A perfect setup has been staged, where larger than life size posters of our stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar have been put up at the location for the promotional activity. In the event, the team will most likely sit down for one-on-one chat with the media. Not only that, but the team of Bombay Velvet reportedly will host a special screening for the few selected invitees present in the event. This unique promotional strategy surely has grabbed our attention but this is not first time, as the team of Bombay Velvet have been the topic of talk in the media since the day the promotion of the film began. We have seen Ranbir, Anushka and Karan at few many events to promote their upcoming film Bombay Velvet.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet will take us back in time, as the film is set in 1960’s and will take us through the streets of Bombay before it became Mumbai. The film is based on Gyan Prakash’s book called Mumbai Fables, the film is a story of how a man’s dream becomes every man’s nightmare. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Johnny Balraj, whereas Anushka Sharma will play the role of a jazz singer named Rosie Noronha. For the very first time, Karan Johar will be seen in a full-fledged role in Bombay Velvet. Karan plays the role of an antagonist named Kaizad Khambatta.

Bombay Velvet also stars Kay Kay Menon, Raveena Tandon and Manish Chaudhary. The film is all set to hit the theatres on May 15, 2015.
