Squats And Shakes: Ranveer Singh’s Body Power!

18[tps_footer]Don’t get any ideas, ladies and gentlemen! What we mean, of course, isn’t Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh’s prowess in bed or anything of the sort. But we’re talking about his physical fitness levels and skills in the gymming department!

Seen at a fitness event here in Mumbai, Ranveer Singh took time out to display his ample muscles for the fitness brand. Seen in a crisp white shirt, blue denims and black blazer combo, Ranveer looked ready to beat the heat as he tied up his little ponytail.

When asked why he was late for the event, Ranveer replied tongue-in-cheek that his maths skills are unfortunately pretty weak. He had calculated a time frame of an hour to get from Andheri to Goregaon, but the journey ended up taking two hours, for which he profusely apologized to the assembled media persons. So much so, that he even offered to do sit ups as a penance, and that that would fulfill his daily cardio needs, much to the amusement of the audience!

Ranveer Singh then proceeded to do just that – the garrulous, cheeky young star performed five very brisk sit ups, holding his ears as a punishment. Once done, Ranveer Singh cheekily commented: “My glutes are made. Buns of steel, baby!”

When questioned on who he would like to share his protein bar with, Ranveer Singh replied sincerely, “Right now, Priyanka Chopra, who was my co-star in Gunday, is training extremely rigorously for Mary Kom, which is produced by my favourite director, Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She’s also starring with me in Zoya’s next. Considering how hard she’s been training, and I’ve seen her at it in the gym, I think one of these bars might help her.”
