[tps_footer]While a host of ladies managed to impress us this week, with their fabulous sartorial choices, there were those inevitable few who ended up disappointing as well. The most shocking of the fashion failures being the lovely, effortlessly wonderful, style goddess Madhuri Dixit herself.
Madhuri Dixit, while getting it right at another event, sadly managed to land on the worst dressed list this week as well, for a mismatched outfit. At the gala screening of her latest release, Dedh Ishqiya, the belle of the balle put in a disappointing appearance.
In a look straight out of the 1990’s, Madhuri donned an ink blue salwar kameez, which did nothing to flatter her figure. Her hair was styled badly, and the makeup was probably a bit too decadent for someone as naturally beautiful as her.
Kalki Koechlin, at the same event, turned up in a red and black printed sari. We’ll give her points for experimenting with her look, but this time she got it wrong. The flat hairdo did nothing to salvage the look.
Along with Madhuri and Kalki, even Bollywood starlet Shruti Haasan made a fashion faux pas this week. Shruti donned a brown satin suit and mismatched lipstick to the Filmfare nominations party, and that fishtail braid was smack out of place on the ensemble. That puts her in the bottom three this week, along with Madhuri Dixit and Kalki Koechlin.[/tps_footer]
