Sunil Grover Finally REACTS On Quitting The Kapil Sharma Show

After the physical brawl between Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma, except the Twitter post, Sunil had maintained a staunch silence refusing to comment on anything. But Kapil has been extremely vocal and apologetic about his drunken misbehavior.

Sunil Grover has not expressly confirmed the incident that happen on the flight when they were on their way back to Mumbai from Australia. When contacted by indianexpress.com, Sunil sounded extremely upset and said, “Please give me 2-4 days. I don’t want to comment on what’s happening. Let me figure out things and I will speak.”

The comedian unwilling to comment on reports that he is planning to quit ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. He said, “I want to stay silent. I don’t know what’s this… Please don’t make me speak about it. Give me a few days, I will get to know and I will let you know.”

Since the reports surfaced that Kapil got drunk, belittled Sunil and also physically assaulted him, new page of the drama is unfolding every day. This is not the first time the two comedians have had differences over things. Owing to creative differences, Sunil quit ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ to start his own show, ‘Mad In India’ which turned out to be a dud. Post which, Sinul came back and joined Kapil’s crew once again.

Sunil’s characters in TKSS, Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi are extremely popular and loved characters on the show.

It has been further reported that Sunil is contractually bound with Sony (which airs the Kapil Sharma Show) until April 23 and is therefore not in a position to address what happened during the fight between him and Kapil.

There are friends of Sunil who claim that he doesn’t intend to comeback on the show irrespective of fee hike and that he has made up his mind on quitting the show as he is truly hurt.

Sunil has skipped the last two shoots of the show, but sources close to Sony say he will stay back.

Besides Sunil, there are also conjectures that Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar may also quit the show as both of them were missing at the shooting of the recent episodes.
