The next film directed by Remo D’Souza starring Tiger Shroff and beautiful Jacqueline Fernandez will see the duo in dancing avatars. Where Tiger is playing the role of an energetic Punjabi superhero and Jacqueline will be seen in a sweet Bharatanatyam dancer’s role in Turbanator.
According to sources, choreographer and director Remo D’Souza had signed Tiger Shroff for the film first before approaching Jacqueline for the leading lady’s role. Hearing that the movie will once again be Remo’s special dance oriented film; an excited Jacqueline gave her nod without even reading the script!
Jacqueline who was busy with the promotions of her recently released film Roy, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, is currently finishing her shoot for the film Brothers starring Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra. Soon after which the actress will be working on her Hollywood project Definition of Fear.
Reportedly, the film’s name has been changed twice where earlier it was to be named Flying Jatt, then Turbo Singh and now finally Turbanator has been fixed. The reason for these particular names being the role of Sardar that Tiger Shroff will play in the movie. Jacqueline’s role will be that of a Bharatanatyam dancer whom Tiger Shroff abducts.
Jacqueline Fernandez confirmed the same saying, “I play a bharata natyam dancer and I’m learning the dance form from a teacher in Delhi. I’ve watched Heropanti and I feel Tiger is a really good dancer. My role includes a lot of dancing and flying so I want to match him, step for step.”
The shoot for Turbanator will begin in April this year. Remo D’Souza is currently working on the sequel of his film Any Body Can Dance with actors Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. The film will hit the screens on June 26.
