Sushant Singh Rajput Confirms Split With Fiancé Ankita Lokhande

Relationships like these make us all believe that a happy ending might actually be possible if you try hard enough. With that being said, when a celebrity couple breaks up, it makes all of us a little sad. After a whirlwind of celebrity break-ups and divorces, the newest couple that has headed to splitsville is Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande.

The couple met on the sets of their show ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and started dating shortly after. In fact, Sushant had proposed to Ankita in full Bollywood style on the Jhalak Dikhlaaja 4 set! The high-profile couple was all set to get married in December 2016 but after a bout of constant fighting and slew of disagreements, they have decided to part ways.

Recently when the media was rife with rumors about the couple, the ‘Kai Po Che’ star tweeted, “If you can’t understand my silence, you will never understand my words…!!” He followed it by another equally sad tweet, “Mirage after mirage … The incessant futile pursuit of happiness . In the end, it doesn’t even matter..” Both these tweets hinted that not all was going well for him in his relationship. However, when a leading daily got in touch with Rajput to ask him about the same, he confirmed by saying “I can’t talk about it right now. It is not a good feeling. Please, understand.”

Apparently ever since Rajput’s career graph shot ahead and Ankita’s lagged behind, it led to lots of tension between the two. They continued to bicker over the silliest of things and fought incessantly. A source close to the couple said that while they were very much in love, their differences had gotten too big to be solved and they were unlikely to ever get back together. The source also added that Rajput is coping with this heartbreak by immersing himself in work.

Well, we wish the two try and sort their differences and get back together. After all, is there anything better than a happy ending?[/tps_footer]
