As per reports, Swastika Mukherjee has been accused of shoplifting a pair of earrings that costs $250 from a Singapore boutique. Swastika is the only actress in the 35 people contingent that travelled to Singapore to attend the Darpan Film Festival which celebrates best of Bengali cinema. After a heavy breakfast, Swastika explored the place and went to a boutique.
Next day, the news was abuzz that Swastika was last seen checking out the pair of earrings at the boutique and after it went missing, she was called for questioning. Now it could be pure coincidence that Swastika Mukherjee was last one to check it out. CCTV footage also shows her admiring the jewellery but that doesn’t establish the fact that she stole it.
