[tps_footer]The lead pair of upcoming film Tamanchey– Nikhil Dwivedi and Richa Chadda have been promoting their film in Mumbai over the last weeks.
The duo attending the Narsee Monjee College festival ‘Umang’ to interact with the students there. “With a bunch of talented & such a confident lot at NM’s “Umang Festival”. Took me back to my academic years,” tweeted Nikhil.
Nikhil and Richa also attended the Sankalp Dahi Handi festival on Monday. Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Madhuri Dixit and Rani Mukherjee were also present at the event. Nikhil and Richa later celebrated Dahi Handi at Kalyan.
The stars received an overwhelming response at these events. The Tamanchey trailer, which launched at the end of last month received a great response from the film fraternity as well as mass audiences. The look and language in the trailer was a big hit, and has led to people referring to Nikhil and Richa as ‘Munna’ and ‘Babu’- their characters.
The film is slated to release October 10, 2014. “It’s a very unusual film, it’s a quirky love story and this is the first time I have attempted a love story. I hope Nikhil and I make an interesting pair and this film is a film of many firsts. I have done my own stunts, there is also a love making scene, that’s also a first. I hope you enjoy the film it’s a pulpy, raw, edgy, noir entertainer.”
The two will next be seen with Devansh Patel in Freaky Shukravaar on August 22.
