Tara Sharma To Launch Songs For My Grandfather

tara sharma mainTara Sharma is all set to launch her father’s book titled Songs For My Grandchildren. Partap Sharma, Tara Sharma’s father, author and playwright, wrote a book Songs For My Grandchildren, shortly before he passed away in the year 2011.

The book, which will be launched today, May 11, 2014 on the occasion of Mother’s Day, will see the actress and her kids along with other children and their moms do a sing song jig.

Songs For My Grandchildren has illustrations by Dheera Kitchlu, the book is a sing-along introduction to the world of numbers, exercise, friendship and animals. Proceeds from the sale of Songs For My Grandchildren will go towards charity.

“It has testimonials from Amitabh Bachchan and top educationists. My dad lives on through his legacy of work.” states a proud daughter.

Meanwhile, Tara Sharma, who has also did a tiny role in Million Dollar Arm which stars Jon Hamm is focusing on work again and has lots to do. Firstly she has the third season of her successful television show The Tara Sharma Show – Diaries Of A New Mum the she has conceptualised, written and co-produced and also hosts.

The Tara Sharma Show – Diaries Of A New Mum will celebrate inspirational mums from various walks of life, will air starting August 2014. If all goes well then Tara Sharma will soon be seen in a Hollywood project. The film in question is with the Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp.

Then a very exciting show for the US directed by the director of The Other Boeyden Girl and the producer of Fight Club who also worked on House Of Cards, a show we love, and a Dharma-Balaji co production, all of which she is waiting to start work on.

“As always in life I believe the journey must be as enjoyable as the destination so I have and am enjoying all I do, whether I get the roles or not. I am also working on a book I may write for Randon House India. So lots of my plate, and I try and give everything my hundred percent but of course always prioritizing my kids and family’s needs, so often there isn’t enough time in the day to do everything.” says the mother of two.
