UDta-Punjab-0024[tps_footer]Udta Punjab is definitely the most controversial film of 2016. Much before its release, the film has garnered a lot of negative as well as positive publicity. Recently, Mumbai High Court passed the judgement of allowing Udta Punjab‘s release with only one cut and gave it an ‘A’ certificate. But now there is again trouble in the paradise, as there was a case filed against the makers in Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on Monday.

As per a leading daily, people of Punjab and Haryana think that the film is portraying the youth of Punjab in a bad light. The High court has now issued a notice to the Censor Board and the makers of Udta Punjab, asking them why its screening should not be stopped and why they should allow the release of the film on basis of a petition filed by advocate Wattan Sharma.
The Haryana High court had yesterday told a set of lawyers to watch the film at 4 pm and then give their final verdict on the same by June 16. The Haryana-based lawyer along with Mumbai-based lawyers and filmmakers have watched the film and now all we can do is just wait for the final result. We hope that all the controversies come to an end at once.
We really Hope that the case is resolved soon and we can peacefully watch Udta Punjab![/tps_footer]
