The makers of the movie ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike have dropped in a new teaser video today and it gives us the sneak peak of how things function in the new India. In the end the voice over comes, “khoon ka badla khoon (an eye for an eye).
Uri- The Surgical Strike is based on the surgical strike conducted by Indian Army in the year 2016. In this attack or the first time, India changed the rules of engagement. We are now a part of the new India who does not want to take action and will not remain silent when our soldiers are attacked. The army officials are willing to lay lives for securing us and always put the nation above self. During the URI attach they were attacked mercilessly while they were sleeping in their tents unarmed. It tells the story that we know how to avenge the deaths of our soldiers.
Earlier in the week, the makers released a video in which we see Yami Gautam perform a surgical strike on our senses and in turn telling us the real meaning of the term. This is more direct communication and really gives us a glimpse of what is in store for us in the movie.
Uri- The Surgical Strike stars Vicky Kaushal in a leading role. The film is releasing on January 11, Uri also features Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal.
