Varun Dhawan On Kriti Sanon: I Needed A Ladder Because She Is So Tall!

[tps_footer]One of the most anticipated movie of this year is Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’. The movie is bringing back Bollywood’s iconic pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The movie also stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon as parallel leads.

During a press junket for ‘Dilwale’, media was shown a sneak peek of the movie. The cast shared some stories from the filming experience and interacted with the media as well.

When asked whether he was nervous working with Kajol, Varun Dhawan made some confessions. He said,

“First day of shoot, I did mess up a little. I was a bit nervous working with Kajol mam. While filming a scene, she’d just see me and start laughing. Throughout the movie it happened. It still happens.”

Varun also shared his experience working with SRK. He said,

“I had the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh sir and Kajol maam on My Name Is Khan. I discovered so much about Shah Rukh sir on this movie. He is just a wonderful person to be with. He spent so much time with me and Varun(Sharma). He made us feel like a family. Shah Rukh sir has this quality that he makes everyone comfortable.”

He added that he is grateful that he got to work with actors like Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra.

When asked about his chemistry with his love interest Kriti Sanon, he joked saying,

“I needed a ladder because she is so tall. Jokes apart, Kriti is so beautiful that I was never conscious of her height. Rohit sir always said that look into her eyes to make a connection. I used to look into her eyes and say my dialogues. I never had a tall girlfriend in my real life.”

Varun also spoke about his bonding with his co-star Varun Sharma. He said

“Actually, we now have a very emotional relationship. We spent so much time together. He actually is like a brother. I’m very protective of him.” Aww!!!

With much hype, ‘Dilwale’ looks like a movie not to be missed. ‘Dilwale’ will be releasing on December 18,2015
