MUMBAI: Looks like director Kabir Khan has the tendency to land up in war-torn places or in war-zones. His first feature film ‘Kabul Express’ had taken him to Afghanistan. Now his next film with Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan will take him to Syria and Lebanon.

Unfortunately reports say American President Barack Obama is all ready to call war on the Syrian nation. This has only landed the director and his stars Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan in trouble.

Apparently the troupe will be shooting in Lebanon along the Syrian border. Kabir Khan has just returned a week ago after conducting an extensive recce of Lebanon.

A source said, “If US planes fly towards Syria, they will have to go over Lebanon. This puts Katrina Kaif, Saif and others in a potential war zone.”

He added, “The plan is to start the shoot on 18 October. Kabir will shoot the first schedule, spanning close to 15-18 days, in the conflict-ridden Syria-Lebanon border.”

The producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, has taken a new security cover for the film which will cost Rs 20 lakh more than usual.

Let’s hope this shoot will be a safe one for everyone involved.
