Watch: Aamir Khan Publicly Apologises To Kamal Haasan

During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan apologized to Kamal Haasan. Referring to 2013 Kamal Haasan’s movie ‘Vishwaroopam’ that created a controversy leading to ban the movie. On this, Aamir said that banning of a film cannot be justified if people don’t like certain content.

Apologizing to Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan said,“I really feel ashamed that at that time I was lost in my work but as an industry that was the time we had to come together. I apologise to you publicly that I wasn’t there at that time. I feel bad that we weren’t there with you. Banning a film is not right.”

Recently, Censor Board created a controversy over banning objectionable words and also banning some kind of material from the movie. Not just that, Aamir Khan’s last movie PK was also dragged into controversies where people even wanted to ban the movie. But those controversies didn’t affect Aamir Khan or his movie. PK created box office record of all the times.
